Lamp black (carbon, soot, Lampblack, Carbonblack) Standard and Premium grade

Two carbon black grades are available. Our standard grade is a lamp black derived from a liquid feedstock and gives a broad particle size range. The premium product is a gas black with an ultrafine 25 nanometre average primary particle size. Lampblack is essentially very finely divided carbon formed by collecting the soot from partially burnt materials. When handling this material wet, it is advised to add a percentage of alcohol to reduce the surface tension. Specifications Source: Polyaromatic oils based on coal or oil Particle size: <350 mesh (~30µ) Colour: Black Odour: Odourless

Iron metal powder (metallic Fe. Atomized) Ultra fine, 100g-25kg

Atomized iron is susceptible to rusting if exposed to moisture, care should be taken to keep it dry. It should be noted that it does not keep well in compositions containing oxidizers. Photograph is an unmeasured weight, and is only to represent the material, not the weight. Specifications Purity: >99.0% Fe Impurities: Max values: Sulphur 0.02%, Carbon 0.01%, Oxygen 0.15% Particle size: ‘300 mesh’. <2% +75 micron, <20% +45 micron Bulk density 2.8 – 3.0 g/cm³ Colour: Dark, Silver white to grey Odour: Odourless Formula: Fe Melting Point: 1371 – 1483 °C Boiling Point: 2850 – 3150 °C

Graphite Powder, Synthetic micronized, micronised, 100g-20kg

Graphite is manufactured in two main types, Synthetic and Natural. Synthetic graphite is a high purity material with excellent batch consistency and thermal / electrical conductivity. Natural graphite is normally favoured for less demanding applications as it is cheaper. Inoxia has a high turnover of synthetic graphite, we are able to offer this single superior product at a lower price than stocking natural graphite in addition to our synthetic graphite product. Applications Lubrication (high / low temperature range and dry lubrication) Carbon raising in steel Refractory linings and casting moulds. Please note Inoxia only stocks Synthetic Graphite. Specifications Source: Synthetic Particle size: 300 mesh (95% <53µm) Purity (Typical): 98.6% Carbon, 0.05% Sulphur, 0.05% Nitrogen, 0.8% ash, 0.3% Volatile, 0.3% Moisture. Colour: Grey-black

Parlon powder (Chlorinated Rubber) 100g-6kg

A useful chlorine donor colour intensifier. Contains ~66% Chlorine. Specifications Particle size: Powder Colour: White Odour: Almost odourless Solvent: Acetone Impurities: < 2.5% Toluene Melting Point: ~200ºC Boiling Point: Decomposes at 200ºCSafety Contains Toluene, <= 2.5% Possible risk of absorption through the skin of toluene. Keep away from food, drink and animal foodstuffs. When using, do not eat or drink. Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with skin. Avoid contact with eyes. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label.
